Red Sky

Manhattan is often the litmus test for new architectural experiments. Red Sky isn’t an exact geographic location in New York City, but my interpretation on the differences between standard multi-story apartments to more novel and contemporary architectural projects which are becoming more and more prevalent around the world. That’s not to say that the standard NYC apartment building depicted in Red Sky is to me as drab as a Soviet era apartment cell block. I’m simply attracted to the juxtaposition between new and old architecture in New York. Red Sky is raised relief, 8 levels deep.
